Texas Chefs Association
MISSION
"It is our mission to promote the culinary profession and make a positive impact for culinarians through education and certification; while creating a fraternal bond of respect and integrity among culinarians in Texas."
The purpose for which this Association was formed is to support our mission statement having the following purposes and objectives:
- To interchange information and ideas among culinarians in the best interest of themselves and the culinary industry.
- To promote the success and prestige of Chefs.
- To aid and encourage the training and education of culinary personnel and to aid in the support of educational development.
- To maintain high personal and moral standards.
- To encourage the highest possible standard of all food served to the general public.
- To provide opportunity for exchange of experience and opinions of Chefs through discussions, study and publications.
- To advocate and encourage reciprocal cooperation and understanding among owners, management and culinary department employees.
- To give back to the community through service to others.
TCA is a statewide association comprised of 15 sub-chapters in major cities across Texas.
